Why “more” matters
'More' is often the very first word speech pathologists target — because it works everywhere. More bubbles, more tickles, more crackers, more pops. Once your child discovers that one little word gets them more of what they love, they learn the biggest lesson in communication: words are powerful. These three toys are chosen because they create dozens of natural 'more' moments in a single play session.
How to teach it — 4 simple steps

Do something your child loves (a pop, a tickle, a spin) — then STOP and wait.

Look at them with expectant eyes. Count to five in your head. The pause is the magic.

If they gesture, reach or make any sound — model the word once: 'More! You want MORE!'

Give them more straight away. The word worked — that's the lesson. Repeat all day.
